Consultancy for Academies
One of the key roles in Raman’s career has been that of the Head batting coach at the National Cricket Academy of the BCCI from 2016 to 2018. During this period, Raman had the benefit of gaining first-hand knowledge of the shortcomings and the needs at the grass root level. This has provided Raman with a great understanding of what needs to be done for academies, run by the private entities and the State Associations of the BCCI. The effort put in by the administrators of the academies, young cricketers and the financial burden on the parents need to be channeled rather judiciously. This is another area Raman can be engaged to garner the appropriate results through utmost efficacy.
